Hello readers, friends, and family… I’m thrilled you’ve stopped by my corner of the blog world. Blogging has become a creative outlet for me; a place to document my ordinary and not-so ordinary days, a collection of my photography and occasional kitchen adventure, a place to connect with similar and not-so similar people, and a way for me to become inspired to live more fully.

Gluten free cooking, picture taking, bacon frying, ex-runner, average 20 something girl sharing her simple story.

I love sunlight, biking, endorphins, family, bon iver, walking, the ocean, waitressing, writing, learning, coffee, jars, modern dance, september, surfing, mugs, moments, and energy.

If you have any questions or would like to contact me about anything, my email is or you can find me on twitter: KatiekDid

I hope you’ll read a post or two and leave me your thoughts, I love to learn from other’s opinions and stories. Thanks for stopping by!

Did you go to school on an Island? Where?! What was that like – too isolating or did you meet new people/learn new things, etc?

I didn’t go to school out there, I only worked during the summer months. Since the summer is peak tourist season it was not very isolating. I met soooo many amazing people and friends, it was easily one of the greatest experiences of my life, three summers in a row. I do enjoy having a bit more freedom to get around and visit people now though, living in vermont for the summer. Email me if you ever want to hear more about it, I could go on for days 🙂

I only recently began eating gluten-free, and I just stumbled upon your blog not even knowing that it features a lot of GF recipes. I’ll be following you from now on! Glad to have found you! I’m Jen. 🙂

I’m glad you stopped by 🙂 I tried viewing your blog but I think the address might be wrong? Is there a link you can give me to bring me to yours, I’d love to check it out.

I just found your blog on FaithFoodFitness and I love it! Somehow you remind me a lot of myself. I’m a (rising) college senior as well, though much farther away! I think we may have a lot in common! I will definitely be back! 🙂
